Is it water proof?
The material is naturally water repellant and absorbs less than .01% of moisture. These properties make it naturally stain resistant and odor repellant.
Is it stab proof?
An edged blade can penetrate the material. It is slash resistant—think box cutters, Xacto razors, slashing attacks from knives.
Is it light-weight?
A XXL Slash Hoodie weighs 30 ounces compared to a brand name at 22 ounces.
How do you clean it?
Hand wash, cold water with Woolite or a delicate detergent. Lay flat to dry.
Is it slash proof?
While it will defeat a slashing attack, the nylon and layers of the protective fabric will be cut and exposed.
Is it bullet proof?
These are not certified by the NIJ as bullet resistant.
Is it breathable?
They are water-proof. They are ultrasonically sealed to prevent moisture from degrading the protective fabric.
I punctured the nylon, how do I repair it?
A water-proof tape such as Flex-Seal is recommended. Cut a small patch and affix over the holes/nick/cut.
How do you clean it?
Use a non-bleach cleaning wipe or warm soapy water and a towel. Dry with a clean paper towel or cloth.

The US has a federal ban on the possession of body armor by convicted felons (18 U.S.C. 931). Felons can only purchase bullet resistant vests if their employer requires it and they get written permission to do so. Still, it is the responsibility of the felon to refrain from buying body armor. If they make an illegal purchase, only they can be prosecuted. Retailers are not liable for what happens to body armor after it is sold.
